In March 2007, the informal CCIP Work Group on Economic Development reorganized as a direct project of CVIP with its own Board of Directors and a part-time Program Manager.

The Chiloquin Area Economic Development Council is comprised of local community members and business owners.  They work on economic development projects in the Chiloquin area that enhance goods & services and familywage jobs.

• U.S. Highway 97 Corridor Planning Initiative
• Economic Opportunity Study

The Economic Development Council meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 10:00 AM at the Chiloquin Community Center.
